Foraged in the wild British Columbia mountains from September 2018. We used fresh Matsutake grade 3 to 5 to make these dry slices.
The dried Matsutake is wonderful in Matsutake rice, soups, and stews with soy sauce or dashi base. Re-hydrate in hot water for 10 minutes, or until it softens, it is ready to use.
